new Academy 2WD

A nice champ from Korea emailed me today with some photos of a possible new 2WD from Academy - the car looks pretty right in the cad drawings, I guess it depends how they put it into production now.

the guy who designed the sb sport is the guy who designs the mugen cars(if you ever had a academy trade catologue you would be amazed :) ),but obviously the griffin was way before his time as that came out in 97 originally.

wonder if its the same guy who has done this.

I race a car that have a chassis of a wood and a shoe box for a shell. I use the gypsy tears in the shocks made of coal. It, how you say? Handle like a piece of potato!

that korean guy has serious skill on cad!, i couldnt even do a washer! any ideas on price?

jimmy 03-07-2007 10:04 AM

Afraid it's still on the CAD at the moment so it'll be a while before we even know if it will be made or not.. but the cad looks good so I hope so.

here is a new conversion from ART - Academy Racing Technologies, for the SBv2.

Definitly not the same guy as the griffin. This car was mainly designed in the four walls of MRC, then we sent the prototype to ACADEMY they made a few changes and will be produced shortly.

DCM 26-07-2007 03:29 PM

any idea on Pricing Mr Graboski?

Davey G 27-07-2007 02:14 PM

Here in the US, street price will be a minimum of $25.00- less then a team associated factory team B4.

josh_smaxx 27-07-2007 03:09 PM

Its just a copy of the B4 at the back :eh?: surely thay need permission from AE to produce something that similar
