EFRA banning nitro engines in 2012
 
Have any of you seen this on buggy sport news site.

the EFRA aren't covering any nitro events after 2011 due to ecological problems :O.

the reasons are here

it is april fools but there is a bit of truth in that.
Nitro is not good for the enviorment.

Careful tiger... Aluminium, steel and copper take a lot less producing than the special metals in a nitro engine, or the manufacture of bearings and liners. Cracking the nitro fuel uses a heap of energy, and the smoke particles nitro puts out aren't exactly human-friendly. And nitro has its unique noise pollution.

There's a danger of pot, kettle, black here!! It's all human consumption, and in some way or another it's all got its faults. But that was a good April Fool! :thumbsup:
