[QUOTE=jono83;361459]have they lengthend the wheel base aswell as it look longer than a "normal" elise[/QUOTE

it'll be built here in the UK at a production facility at Silverstone, which will convert the Lotus chassis, lengthening it and beefing it up to transform it from a 200hp lightweight into a 1,000hp-plus Veyron chaser with engines shipped from Texas.
as Winny sayshttp://ts4.mm.bing.net/images/thumbn..._Churchill.jpgthe vw

My question is why put a heavy big block in there?!??!?!

That's like putting an electric scooter motor in an rc car... Sure, it might go fast in a straight line but it won't corner.

America's a big market, they love to buy big-blocks, and they don't have many corners... ;) I wouldn't call the 8.0 litre W16 engine in the Veyron small either!

Which is why I disagree with most of the culture around me.

Except the select few who know what 'handling' means in terms of auto performance.

even with the myriad drivers aids required to get it to a reasonable standard, it'll still be an over-powered ill handling barge.

colin chapman would be turning in his grave at this abberation
