wishbones and front shock shafts

I would add shock caps, shock ends, and a spare diff gear set.

Add to the list a front shock tower (Atomic do a thicker carbon one), front bulkhead, spur gear and a screw kit.

I've never actually broken a shock end. the eye. just ended up with the remains of the shock shaft snapped off in there, but yes. you'll need spare ones hehe.

Fibrelyte do a 5mm front tower also for £14

Think all the usual spares are mentioned in the above posts, if i was to suggest something have a couple of sets of wingmounts in your pitbox too...

This topic's been covered in a few threads so far but fwiw, it's a good idea to have some front spring retainers too..

They dont' break when you crash, but are almost impossible to find on a track after fragging a shock shaft. Somewhat annoyingly, they are a unique part to the front of the B44.

Diff Gear sets and front shock shafts!

Big G 30-03-2010 01:24 PM

can't say I've ever lost a shock cup off the front even when I did 4 mins in a race at kiddy track with only 3 shocks on the car and the broken on just flapping around on the front. they seem to be really snug on the ball cup on the bottom so don't come off too easily.

never fragged a diff gear set yet, although I see loads of dust in there which might be tiny bits of gears lol.

Yeah, they're pretty snug - but I think you got a bit lucky...

I did pretty much the exact same thing for 4 minutes of a final at EPR a few weeks ago... But my spring cup was nowhere to be found....:bored:

Cheers,
Ty
