schumacher active caster system for xx
hi guys was going through my xx 2wd spares this morning and came accross this. Strange looking fr wishbones i have an entire front end and a pair of spare wishbones but my prob is cant remember wot it was for and would it be worth putting on my xx now?

In a word....NO, it was useless and never took off, now there are no spares left for it either
|
thanks darren but just out of interest wot was it supposed to do?

It was called SACS, Schumacher Active Castor System and it changed the castor angle as the wishbone went up and down (rather than being fixed at say 25 or 30 degress like conventional blocks do)

Yeah it was gay...didnt even make the original fireblade handle any better LOL!!! The new cougar SV looks much better made as well!

you would have less initial caster, to give you turn in, then and the car pitched on the nose and you had suspension compression, it would increase the caster, giving theoretically more mid corner.

I wanna see pics of this...
