Well isn't that neato - yahoo is actually crawling my site for information which helps their search engines and helps people find this site...

BUT unlike google or any other search engine which might have 1 or two bots, I currently have about 320 bots trawling my site from yahoo.... great..... :o

How'd that happen then?

I could do with some of that.:D

I noticed that on Doughty late last night and worried what on earth was going on! Every time I refreshed the number was climbing and climbing... I thought it was being invaded!

Yahoo seem to have decided to bombard the internet over the last few days - hopefully it will end soon, but thats the real reason. :o

Ive noticed this too with my website, its good really because in the long term we all get the visitors from the bots!

Is it cos it is raining, we're all lost for stuff to do? :D

I've heard Google bots are afraid of the rain and seek the protection of oOple during extreme weather.

I noticed this, I was wondering why there were a crazy number of guests on....

I check them out, all from pretty much the same IP address :rolleyes:

I think this is my fault, I'd closed all the windows, but it seems I left the bot door open on my PC! :p

are these bots like the nanites in Startrek? Can you see them with a magnifying glass? do they make you itch? Can you catch them on flypaper?
