editing a avi video etc

want to add some balloons or similar to one I've recorded with snagit to hide user details / account details

which program to use though?

Is the file a .wmp extension? I've not seen one of those, .wmv maybe?

Perhaps Windows Movie Maker would do the job?

avi file, that plays in WMP

Oh, I see now, hmm, I can't find something to do it in WMM either, the caption stuff isn't very versatile...

You know, I don't know how to do what you want... Hmm...
