Futaba 3VCS Buttons...

I'd really like to put throttle end point on button 2, so I can turn top end down to say 80% easily, just like I've got steering D/R on button 1.

Can I do this? I can't figure out how.

Page 79 should be a good start. HTH.

a bit like the brakes are set up now then?

I'll fiddle when I get home and try and work out if it can be done :)

sosidge: err, yeah, I've RTFMed the paper manual... What setting do you think it might be - ACC-F?

big g: yes! like the ATL brakes are using those buttons at the moment...

Sorry, didn't realise that. There isn't a throttle-side equivalent of ATL on the Futaba AFAIK, you have to force-limit it with the EPA settings. And EPA can't be assigned to those buttons.

You can make the stick milder near neutral by selecting the EXP.

Personally I would just use less thumb or less motor if I had too much top-end, I'm not a fan of the artificial limits on the ESC.

Yeah, I'd use less thumb if I had more talent... Maybe I can fake similar by playing with EXP curves etc.

Just as long as I know I'm not missing a trick!
