You get enormous amount of drive if you use one in the centre. If you use one in the front the front can drive much better out of the corners and get alot of steering off power. I think the only down side is that they can sometimes run hot and you risk the plastic melting. I used a similar technology called torsens years ago on my Hyper 7 and Hyper 8 and I really liked the difference. If you are relatively new to 1/8th offroad then I would advise that you stick with the stock diffs as you do not need extra complications.
