Looks the dogs b******s to me. I can't see a price on the Hudy site. You mention you have pre-ordered one - was this direct from Hudy?

Camber gauge and a good eye costs far less than another XGay gadget....

AmiSMB 19-03-2010 12:08 PM

The problem is that you can spend loads of time with a setup station and then you put the wheels back on and it just does not look right. You must make sure that the wheel bearings and axles are good and that there is not any slop in the front or rear hubs that can end up giving you false readings on the setup station. I usually use the AE camber guage that came with the AE B4 or a PBM camber guage and then use the AE height guage for setting the shocks. Setup sheets never seem to state the camber at a certain height and there is always a min and max through the suspension movement so make sure that you work the suspension all the way through the range.

I always set camber at ride height, whether on or off-road. I may put my TC on a setup station if I think there is something wrong, but to be honest, it is all done by eye.

Which is fine, but I haven't got the eye for it. Camber not a problem etc. it's toe in that I just can't eye up properly

AmiSMB 19-03-2010 12:27 PM

Toe in on a B4 is easy if you turn it upside down and compare the angle of the outer hinge pins and the wheels. Thanks goes to showtime for that little trick but I have found it seems to work on quite a few cars.

I shall give that a go.

Hold car at 90 degrees to the table (pointing up or down) and use camber gauge to set toe ;)

I agree..I think I got better readings with my RPM camber gauge...I have this setup station and nothing seems right to me.Plus the left and right camber links at -2 camber are different lengths and its a brand new kit how can this be? i may be selling mine soon.
