What's wrong with the current Lrp sxx tc spec controller.

Nothing I suppose, just that they indicate the Sphere will be cheap?

I'm a Tekin and Speed Passion fan, but it would be nice to have another brushless for my XXCR / B4 etc.

Never knew it had gone, we brought the last 25 or so that SMD had and still have a few left now

I got one last month from DMS, good price for the ESC compared to the SXX, and its a popular one so lots of help to set it up.

Are TC esc's just for snoring cars or are they fine for proper racing (1/10th off road :woot: )

MatJohnson 18-03-2010 04:19 PM

Proper racing :)

matdodd 18-03-2010 07:23 PM

There fine in off road, I use one in the Bmax and have had no problems with it

the 'TC' versions of the speedo's are just a higher spec than the regular versions, they work perfectly fine for 10th off-road. and useful in 4WD on super-high-grip UK tracks where you might draw high amps.

Why are the LRP speed controller's so much more exspensive than all other brands ???

May be LRP are lossing money with the more exspensive SXX version ?

Good news! LRP used to have the finest speedo around. Maybe they are anticipating some 'backlash' against the new programmable speedos, and expecting classes to be created for non-programmable ones? Or maybe they are doing their bit for making 2WD Off-Road even cheaper to start in?

Probably the best non-programmable speedo in the World...
