B-FAST Pro driver kit

I have just built my CR2 diff with a B-FAST Pro driver kit and am very impressed at how smooth it is without using ceramic balls! Hopefully this will show on the track :)

Losi diffs are very good out of the box, extremely smooth. But for AE diffs the B-Fast stuff could come in handy.

Thank you once again!
I am happy that you are impressed. That helps make my numb fingers a little more tolerable. :)
There are five Losi U.S. Team drivers that are also on Team B-Fast, Dustin Evans,Matt Chambers, Eric Clark, Chris Wolfson and Mr. Mike Thomas. You are in very good company.

I agree that Losi diffs are smoother out of the box than AE diffs in my experience but I was amazed how smooth the B-FAST kit was without having to resort to using ceramic balls which I had done on my XX-4/X-5 and to make the diff on my old X-6 smooth I had also used ceramic balls. I am looking forward to getting this on the track and seeing how it goes.

Sounds good, send me a kit and I'll compare them :woot:

What is a "b-fast pro driver kit"?

AmiSMB 15-03-2010 10:23 AM

It is a kit that has 12 carbide balls, a caged thrust race and a set of diff rings that have been ground flat. Click here to see the difference before and after. I got these as I hate having to sand flat diff rings and have not got the patience to do it right so got these instead.
