More front end grip out of corners?

How do you get more front end grip out of corners? Do all 4wd buggies understeer under acceleration?

All cars will steer less when accelerating unless the only driving wheels are those that are steering, so yes.

You can set up your car's handling quite majorly by changing the differential's oils with those of a different weight. I won't recommend anything because I have no idea what car you have or what you want to use it for...and because I'm quite new in that respect. It's quite documented online though, Google it :)

Thicker front diff oil, harder rear roll bar. Stand the rear shocks up on the tower. Shortest wheelbase. Shorten the rear camber link.

Longer will give more on power steering ;)

I have never ever had that result.....mini has short wheelbase and turns on a dime compared to say a limo. That's my theory any way lol and it seems to work for me

Ok im totally new to this, whats a rear roll bar and whats a rear camber link?

Can altering the front toe out help?

Chaz 12-03-2010 11:02 PM

Roll bar is the peice of 'wire' that connects the two wishbones together. See in the picture between the two silver collets

Camber link is the upper arm that connects the shock tower to the hubs. Moving the camber link in a hole on the hub should help you out.

I generally don't really touch front toe tbh matey. More toe-out gives more steering in from what im lead to believe and opposite for toe-in.
