B44 Proline tryes v. Scho mini pins?

Hi

Can anyone tell me what the difference is in terms of performance/surface suitability is between the Prolines that come with the B44 kit and say Schu mini pins? I am looking for a good indoor tyre - are the Prolines as good/better/worse etc?

Cheers

Jnu

The prolines are scrap unless you race on dirt (or similar)

Shu pins in yellow are the best indoor tyre available.

I'd take the rear holeshots if you do decide to part with them! See my Wanted ad!

If you are racing indoors on carpet/ wood floor Schu pins will be the tyre.

If you are racing indoors on clay/dirt holeshots will be the tyre.

Hope this helps

Thanks for all the info.

I will keep hold of the Holeshots (sorry Beanie;)) as I want to have a range of tyres "for all occasions" as it were.

By the way Battle ax (sorry if its a daft q) whats the PDA?

Just worked it out - Proline Dirt Arena

Cheers

PDA is the remarkable indoor clay track in Bicester, Oxfordshire, this is possibly one of the few UK venues where you will use proline holeshots, you may find proline step pins used on some tracks but mostly as PTRU said its shui mini pins indoors on carpet/polished wood and mini spikes (yellow mostly in the dry, greens if damp) outside on grass or astroturf, sometimes pins are cut off tires to suit conditions/tracks and cut down on grip. There may be some magic used with soft/firm inserts. Ask around at trackside to see what the regular drivers use.
