B44 Slipper adjustments! HELP!

Ive been running the B44 for a good while now and other than the slipper its great!

Diffs are set perfect and the slipper is set about as tight as you can get it.

The problem is it still slips quite a bit and you never seem to have the instant punch and power at your finger tips from it!

Have i missed something here or are they all like this????

Make sure the spring has not compressed to much. After a while it will go smaller so you have to adjust the slipper tighter and tighter.

You should be able to completely lock the slipper, so something is wrong. Check if washers, spring, bearings are in the proper order as it is easy to mistake.

I've found it doesn't' take much more from the slight slip settings to the never slip setting myself. Usually showing 2 or 3 threads will make it never slip in my car.

also depends on the surface you're driving on as I know mine doesn't slip at all on the school hall floor, but on carpet it slips loads without even touching the adjustment. suppose the tyres are slipping sometimes.
