Richard Lowe joins XFactory
 

Top UK driver Richard Lowe has made a move to the XFactory UK team for his 2WD and Truck rides for 2010. Richard will also remain with his long-time 4WD chassis sponsor, JConcepts.


Rich will be campaigning the forthcoming new X6 Squared EC buggy in 2wd and the X60 stadium truck in the truck class and continue to run his current JConcepts BJ4 in the 4wd class.

Rich’s cars will be powered in the 2010 season by the all new TRINITY NEMESIS and EPIC DUO 2 PLATINUM brushless motors as well as LIPO batteries from VAMPIRE RACING. He will also be using products supplied from MIP, TEAM AJ, E-SPEED, DDP and DMS PARTZ amongst others too.

Rich is rated as one of the best drivers in the UK today, he has been racing now for 19 years since the tender age of just 8 and finished inside the top 10 in both 2wd and 4wd classes in last years BRCA national championship. He has also exerted his dominance on the truck class at the recent Petit races in 2009 and 2010 by winning both and setting the overall truck TQ this year also. No stranger to overseas events either, Rich has managed to finish on the podium in ALL THREE classes (2wd, 4wd and Truck) at both of his last visits to the superb JConcepts Clash events held in Florida, USA.

Rich joins a strong line up in the X-Factory team for 2010, headed by current BRCA 2wd National champion and 2009 Euros TQ man – Ellis Stafford, as well as the likes of Kevin Lee, Dan Greenwood, Mat Dodd and up and coming youngster Ashley Caunt to name just a few………

Frankly it was more than a little embarrasing to being whipped by someone first time out with their car, even if it was Rich. I'm still blaming some 'plastic spec' tyres I was using up :thumbsup:

Thanks everyone :)

And a big thanks to Chazz and Darren for giving me the opportunity to run for X Factory/DMS, everyone on the team has been a big help getting me up to speed.

I'm going to be running AE shocks on my X Factory rides, so anyone starting out with an X6 Squared EC will have some tried and tested UK setups ready for their new cars to hit the track :)

LOL....... I can confirm I have spoke with him several times and I am not too sure all these people know the same guy we have signed !!! :D

Seriuosly though..... welcome on board Rich, we are pleased to have you with us mate, I am certain you will be a huge assest to the brands, the racers/customers and your fellow team mates too :thumbsup:
