1/8 electric, any chance of running at stotfold?

as the title says, would it be possible?

1/8 buggys are no bigger than 1/10 st's, a bit heavier but thats all...

do you see 1/8 racing in the future of the club?

also, if i was to come down either this sunday or next sunday, would i be able to race my macnum? its running a 9t ezrun setup with 2s lipo...

thanks guys

In principle there should be no problem running an electric 1/8; although you are likely to be the only one at the moment. As for the future, it all depends how popular it becomes. Personally, I am tempted by one, but waiting to see what the new kits are like from Serpent and Durango as they should be designed specifically for brushless rather than a nitro conversion.

You are welcome to run your Macnum truck at the club. The last round of our Winter Series is on the 21st of March; I recommend you pre-book if you want to run then. On a normal club day you can just turn up and race.

Hope that helps.
