F1 2010 predictions.

Jensen and Lewis at Mclaren, Schuey and Brawn at Mercedes, Senna at Espania, Vettel and Webber at Redbull!!!!!

With the Bahrain practice starting next thursday, Who do you think will win the 1) drivers championship 2) manufacturers championship ??

James 06-03-2010 01:11 PM

1.Hamilton
2.Schumacher
3.Button
4.Alonso

1.Mclaren
2.Mercedes
3.Ferrari

Hmm, same 4 as James but also Vettel, no idea what ordr they'll be in though!?

Also, I do think there's a slight chance Button'll have a nightmare!

Just hope Senna does ok once the cars up and running!

I can't begin to explain how excited I am for the 2010 F1 season, gonna be awesome.

Lewis & Mclaren

Goodness what happens beyond that though. I hear Mercedes were testing at Rockingham yesterday with a new diffuser which is supposedly worth 0.8sec for them, so that puts them right in the mix too. It looks sooo tight this year

Alonso to piss Masa off in the first 2 races :)

I think Button will do well this year, with his uuber smoother driving, he should be able to conserve fuel, and possibly go out on a lighter fuel load, and possibly manage his tyres better than team mate Hamilton.

You can't discount Schumacher, if he has race stamina.

DaSloth 06-03-2010 07:37 PM

he's already done a race distance and it seems a race distance isnt so hard on the drivers any more because of the slower start! :)

telboy 06-03-2010 07:40 PM

Lighter fuel load?
They're starting with full tanks this year.

Personally I would like the following--
1) Hamilton
2) Massa
3) Vettel
4) Schumi
5) Button

1) Mclaren
2) Redbull
3) Ferrari

BUT!!! I think it will be the following-
1) Alonso
2) Massa
3) Hamilton
4) Button
5) Vettel

1) Ferrari
2) Mclaren
3) Mercedes

I'm hoping to see some AWESOME battles during qualifying between Hamilton and Schumi. But I think come the race, Hamiltons style might be too much for the tyres on full tanks. Alonso is goin to be fast, but I do hope that Massa shows him who is in charge in Ferrari.

I hope that one of the brits wins it again. But I am more interested in men in leather :woot::thumbsup: seven brits in the world superbikes come on Leon. Leon dislocated his shoulder in friday practice in BSB a couple of years ago and still raced all weekend and came second in one race real men.:woot:

Because Button is a smooth driver, he uses less fuel, and therefore he "could" use less then a full tank load, hence "lighter fuel load"

I didn't overly rate Button's chances, but taking this into account, then he does have a chance.

I think the WSB and MotoGP are a bit more exciting than F1, But having watched F1 for so many years, I have to watch it now even if it gets boring. lol

Didn't Rossi once break his collar bone during a race?...and still get back on and finish?
You don't see F1 drivers doing that do you? lol
They break their small finger and get told they can't race!

Anyway, not getting onto another debate about which sport is best.
It would be ACE to see Kobayashi kick some ass this year and live up to hi performances last year.........

....unfortunately, I can see him getting a few 'girly decision' penalties this year....especially if he 'dares' to overtake anyone.:woot:
