Tools - I can 'creatively aquire' (just don't ask how) most tools if given enough notice.

The race controller 03-03-2010 04:36 PM

and me

Skills------Knowing where all the tools should be in the lockup.
-------also very good at complaining that the work is not done the way I would do it.:bored:
Kidding aside, if you buy something then give me the receipt for reimbursement.
We're not exactly short of funds (yet).
I started bricking up under race control years ago, the blocks are all inside. So there you go.............................one job.
If you mix too much mortar then there are quite a few little bits to repair before they are painted red and white.

i dont have a problem with them but last summer everytime i tried to use them in a track no one else wanted to!:p, could be a good idea to fill the middle in so itl be like a mini table top but the up ramp may need a bit more of a slope?

It was like that before Rob, But because of national guidelines you have to be able to see "all" of the track from everypoint on the rostrum, when the middle was filled you couldnt do this. I know what you mean though they havent been used much since we put them in, and they gather water deep enough for goldfish.

I can come down and help no worries guys. Roger warm up the strimmer and leaf blower.

johnnygibbon 04-03-2010 08:42 PM

many hands make light work

was at track today . buds is right . this winter has not been kind to it. good job we got plenty of willing helpers/ slaves....
think the jumps have changed shape a bit all our cars were flying a bit funny off em. and i no its all driver skill an that but im sure a little reshaping would smooth em out.they did look pretty mishapen. a few breakages mainly cos of our own faults to be fair( goshens reputation remains intact:p)
some weeding and painting would do it a treat but probly needs some cement work here and there and the astroturf could probly do wi patching up. dont worry rog dont think theres a touring car in the country that can complete a lap of that track.
the short course truck is wild loads of fun on the rough stuff think marshalls are gonna need padding this year
