Ko esprit 3 2.4 problems with binding
 

I've had some real trouble with my ko this Sunday, I could turn it on before a race and nothing , the try 10 or 15 times to re bind. I tried a new receiver and cleaned out the module, tightened up the connections everything. End of the day I found I had more luck rebinding as far away from the other cars/people as possible. Can anyone give me some help with this or had the same problems with ko? Thanks sam

After this weekend i have found the problem is with some other people also using KO 2.4ghz, im not sure if its just down to the exact other ko sets in use or a combination of sets and venue, i was at west bridgeford school.

Anyone else had this happen??

I could turn my set on no problems, but if someone else had theirs on first i had to go outside before mine would work, then come in. The same thing happened the other way around, who ever turned on first had no problems???

I have had this problem a few times, I was thinking it was when I was trying to turn on near another racer with a Futaba system.

Always seems strange that someone is near with a Futaba when I have problems, it's made me miss a few race's now, bit of a pain going outside to turn your TX on:(

What 2.4 system do you have, spektrum or KO?

Is it down to the mode? As I had to change mine from hi speed mode on my Helios? Sorry if the question isn't relevant. Just a thought

Ive tried all the response speeds, no help! What problems did you have with your Helios on hi speed mikeyscott?

Glitching and interferance like issues

I had the same problem with the KO it was only a week old .its a faulty module you will have to get it replaced .there are two types of coloured boards they used inside the module .cant remember wich one is the faulty one .but it is a known issue .the best thing to do if you cant get it replaced under warranty is to buy the spektrum module and reciever .or cheaper still buy the fm module . hope this helps

Ive had this problem a number of times mainly at worksop to be honest.

It made me loose a few races so not happy at all!

Didnt go back after the last time dont see the point in your racing going down due to the probs with 2.4.

From what ive been told Colin may also had a few problems at the last worksop with the same problems and hes not using KO!!!! :wub
