Nosram Pure, LRP X12 (Same motors), New GM, Speed Passion V3 or Novak Ballistic.

You wont go far wrong with any of these

My Novak 13.5's done 100+ race meetings in 2 years without being oiled. I'll be dammed if I'm going to start now :p

The new v2 Gm 13.5 is nice, MW have them in stock too I think they are £69.99

Well I didn't think it was necessary - but had the rear bearing sieze in my 13.5 Novak on Sunday - melted the "endbell" with the sensor plate et al......not a pretty site when you pull the rotor out and have all the gubbins at the tail end of the motor come along for the ride......

discostu 25-02-2010 09:57 PM

i would steer clear of the x12 for forcc it just has to much bottom end grunt its a proper wheel spin monster.

and as for bearing what are you like remind me never to buy a second hand motor from anybody up the club.

grimidol 25-02-2010 10:08 PM

lol yep going for new ;-)

It was a motor I'd had from new that failed. I just bought a second hand motor from someone at the club and it seems fine - or it did on Wednesday  Good when I can't afford £60 - £80 on a new one.

I remember when stock motors were £12!!!
