Never bothered with this show before but have now watched two shows of the new series

Only watched as it was getting talked about at work a lot.

There's a theme in there some were apart from the sexual innuendo and I'm looking for it. May watch the next one but the jury's out at the moment

I think its wicked , I watched one show just to see , then I was hooked ..... not sure why it just amuses me .

Top program, on a par with skins on a Thursday, both programs are not for the easily offended but great entertainment

Skin's is fantastic, it's something that's actually worth watching :thumbsup: And as for Shameless i just watch that for the sake of it, mainly because there is no other crap on tv any better lol just reminds me of a place down the road from where i grew up...called Stavely!

I'm not offended by the content, in fact I have had a laugh at it.

It's how it is today I suppose in some quarters of the world not just the UK.

The characters have built up their personalities up quite a bit over the 6 or so series that been on. I'd recommend not watching anymore and start with series one.

The acting is spot on and they do tackle some serious issues, the current series especially.

It''s a great program and long may it continue.

Shameless is quality! Been watching it for a few series now and some of the characters are great, and storylines are bonkers...well worth watching :thumbsup:

I know the writers brother, he's my local mechanic.

It's based around their lives as kids growing up on a council estate (Stoops) in Burnley.

Everything you see is truth extrapolated.

I think Shameless is awesome. Sometimes it sickens me to the bone though.

I think when a series like Shameless gets that good that they should stop when they are at their best like The office, Phoenix nights etc!!

On a side note, im gutted the Paddy is going down the pecking order, nobody seems to have any respect for him any longer:cry:

It's great. A real mix of humour and proper drama.
Being a manc I can also place spot which is nice... same with corrie, I'm well sad.
