b max bearings
 

just replaced the slipper bearings (cheap crap) which disintigrated.with some top notch high quality efforts super smooth and feel miles better. also done wheel bearings. i was wondering if any one on here has had any bearing issues or if they noticed a differance with quality ones. i get them from a spacialist engineering place i have used for years and they seem to outperform any standard bearings i use . in my bike/ car/ rc car ect and may get a bulk order to sell on. what do you think would any b max owners be interested i could make up bearing packs . but they wouldnt work out as cheap as chinese bearings but the differance in quality is huge.cheers

The Slipper bearings had an issue of breaking down because the bearing clamp / slipper cover put too much force on them and crushed them if locked up too tight.

Yes the slipper bearings are definetly lower grade... But after 6 runs I checked them and all seems fine for the moment... In the event that I need to change them, ACER racing sells high quality bearings for 3-4$ a piece with free worldwide shipping. That's probably more than what your bearings would cost, but for overseas guys like myself, it would probably come out the same... Maybe for local racers it could be interesting, depending on what they would cost...

bearings would work out at about £10 posted for two slipper bearings but may get a job lot and may be able to do discount
wheel bearings seem nice to
gonna try and work out a full bearing pack

I would definitely be interested in a full bearing pack (where it makes sense). Keep me posted.
