which esc recommended
speed passion gt2 pro blue, lrp spx stock spec or lrp sxx wanting it to run in a 2wd buggy with a novak ballistic 6.5
|
Very happy with my nosram pearl, same as lrp sxx.

I am super impressed with the Speed Passion GT2.0 (both PRO and LPF).
I find them smoother and more adjustable than the LRP / Nosram units they replaced, are considerably cheaper. As they have plug in switch, reciever & fan wires they are easier to swap between cars if you have to and also easier to repair yourself if you damage a cable. I find the handheld programer much easier to use than looking at LEDs and trying to push tiny buttons on the ESC itself too. Well worth a look especially as the LPF version (perfect for 2wd but was happy running a 5.5 in my 4wd too) is available for under £114 @ Microtech :) |
Don't bother with the LRP, way too agressive for off road, imo.

I agree go for the Speed Passion gt2 Pro blue/silver had both you mentioned (SP & LRP) and SP way better (smoother but still nice and punchy)....

My vote goes to Nosram/ LRP ive run nosram since i started racing. Awsome speedo's great all rounders and good reliability. Also 25 year warrenty....

Another vote for the LRP/Nosram, never had any problems and found delivery acceptable.
Also more recently the Castle Mamba Max Pro I have found excellent and represents very good value for money IMO. |
