What bodyshell?
 

Anyone know what the bodyshell is on the Tamiya page of the Fibre-lyte website? ......... I think it belongs to Mike West but I can't find any details about it anywhere .......... body looks ace and was wondering if it would fit the 511?

your right it is mike wests the car it is on is a tamiya but its 1 him and richard isherwood was making from a touring car im afraid i dont no what the shell is though

The shell looks really good from the side, it would be great to see some more shots of it from different angles...............and of course, to know what it is :thumbsup:

alec i am upset to say it but you have got one sexy car i would put the azarashi shell on it i think that fits the 511 aswell as the 501x? dms racing sell them

I've already got a couple of 511 shells matey, just wondering what that other one was :thumbsup:

the car is a conversion he was working on can't remember which touring car it was but the shell is the Academy sv 4wd shell

I should have know that since I had an Academy LOL
I'm sure i've still got a brand new shell around in the packet somewhere too ............. I'm getting too old for all this :woot:

thats not a trf415 chassis, thats a Tamiya TBevo 5 :)

Alec, As others have said its an academy shell.

The donor gearbox cases and steering were of a tamiya evo4 touring car. Race the car a couple of times as that set up and it was pretty good, but the changed it quite a bit, but it never got much running with the 501 & 511 coming out.

Might have to give it a run out
