Master Smacker build.

Hi All, I bought the Master Smacker kit yesterday, I am no kit virgin having built a couple of B4's and several Tamiya's over the years. But blimey the manual looks pants, tiny pictures and very hard to identify parts. Not looking forward to building this one !!
Any handy hints ?

Watch for when you get to the servo saver part...if you have followed instructions as they are listed you will have to take apart some of the front end to get this to actually go in :)

That was about it as far as I can remember. The rest was not bad.

You are right though, they have a huge amount of wasted space with the smacker instructions, the X Pro's are far far better.

I had to replace a motor in one at the club, and I never knew, swapping a motor could be so hard and long winded.... good luck, see you on the bald and grey side of the build!

Well, got started today assembled both gearboxes and installed them with the drive shaft into the chassis. All seems well so far, going to run it with a Orion 27t to start with as the only ESC I have spare is 27t rated. I know it will be pretty slow, but as I'm only using to cut my teeth with it should be fine.
Assembly is mainly by instinct, look at the manual to see which parts to us and then workout how it all goes together.
Not looking forward to the servo and steering rack though !!
