Work Party & Practice - Saturday 27 February 2010

A Work Party AND a Practice Session!

Weather permitting, a few of us will be trackside from approx. 10:30AM Saturday morning, for a few hours (probably 'til mid-afternoon), we are planning to use the day for further investigations & discussions for the planned track changes, so any help/expertise would be welcomed, please see:

http://www.edenparkraceway.com/

As per usual, everybodies welcome, young or old, newbie or pro, if there's any advice you want or help needed you only have to ask!

But please note, again there is work to be done BEFORE we can think about getting the buggies out!

Will also have a quantity of members equipment that has been put up for sale should anybody be interested, cars; radio equipment, motors, chargers, dischargers, batteries, wheels, tyres and spares, lots available, come and have a look

No doubt the urn will also get fired up from time to time for hot drinks! Hopefully the on-site cafe will be open like previous weekends, highly recommended sausage baguettes!

PLEASE NOTE: THOSE DRIVERS WHO HAVEN'T PREVIOUSLY, SHOULD NOW BE URGENTLY THINKING ABOUT EITHER RENEWING OR TAKING OUT BOTH THEIR CLUB AND BRCA MEMBERSHIPS, application forms for all memberships are available here: http://www.edenparkraceway.com/about.htm And we'll make sure we have some with us trackside.

Believe there maybe one or two extra non-regular Saturday attendees tomorrow:woot:

Point of note: please no parking on the grass, adjacent to the track, on several counts
a) the ground staff are not expecting anybody to be track-side tomorrow as it is not a scheduled race meeting.
b) the gates are currently locked and may remain so tomorrow.
c) the ground is very wet and saturated from all the heavy rain we have had recently and we do not want the ground staff upset by damaging the area.

Thank you for your understanding, see you tomorrow!

Might pop down tomorrow for a look in the afternoon if that's OK? What time will you be there till?

Also, any chance of a spare front A arm for a B4 being available from a shop there or from someone who has one and I'll gladly replace it? Then I could run the B4, as tonight managed to snap a front arm :(

I think I'll be there tomorrow, looks like it's going to be the only nice day this weekend. Track could be slightly damp though :(

Cool, should be down about 3.30 all being well. Anyone got a B4 front arm I can 'borrow' and replace with a new one? Or is there a shop nearby that might have them?

Thanks for everyone coming down this morning. Although it wasn intended, we managed to remove two of the three tarmac areas as we make plans for some track changes.

We will continue this work next Saturday so hope to see you all again...
