Is there any standard text / press release we use to help publicise our sport?
Im supposed to be pushing our sport in our area as part of the club committee, and wondered if there was some text I could use.
Ive got a piece to go in the local rag for the forthcoming regional, and a slot on local radio.
I'm just thinking maybe we could do with pushing this hobby out there a bit more? Ive possibly got a piece going in The Sun aswell, but we'll see if that comes off....
Any advice, or promo that has been done before will be greatly appreciated.
Also .... Im thinking Oople is the resource for people to look at when wanting to get into the sport, or find their local club? Is this the general consensus, or should I be directing people to the BRCA club list?? Is it upto date?

DC is the 1/10th Section PRO. Mike Chilvers is the BRCA PRO.

Mike can be (and should be) contacted via the BRCA site.

It sounds to me like you are doing a good job already!!! The more people that hear about our sport the better.
I also think talking about the BRCA is important, it helps to give further credibility to this sport. And also don't forget the BRCA are second to none!!!

I would also be interested to know how you may be getting an article in the Sun? I have tried them and had no joy.
