Hi Guys,

Do i need anything extra for this or drill any holes?

Just I'm going to be getting one of these cars end of the month to build cant wait.

The motorplate & idler gear kit will come with all the parts you need, so you will not have to order any items or drill anything :D

Thanks Oldtimer but that just on the SE kit aint it?
Or you going to be including this in the other kits soon as i like the standard black chassis thats all.
Nothing wrong with the red just not my cup of tea :p now if it was PINK lol

It is supplied with the SE kit, and once in stock will also be supplied as standard with the CR2 RHD (black) kits instead of the current parts.

Also you will be able to buy the kit separately if you have a CR2 LHD and you want to convert it to a RHD so you can use standard speedo's.

Just waiting for the motorplates to come back from the anodisers, which i hope to have by the middle of the week, then i can start to ship the kits.

Any further news on the motor plate? Broke me gear box last night and don't want to drill a new one if the plates are coming out within the next week or 2

OldTimer 05-03-2010 12:59 PM

Motorplates came in last night, so if you drop me a PM with your paypal email address i can send you a invoice for the motorplate & idler kit  will be £18 plus p&p.

Btw the motorplate is aluminium hard anodised red, and comes with the idler post, two bearings, idler gear and fasteners.

MatJohnson 05-03-2010 01:31 PM

Excellent, PM sent :)

Looking very nice. Can't wait to get my hands on one of these. Will the aluminium plate chassis be available on it's own for those that already have the full carbon chassis?

James

OldTimer 05-03-2010 06:39 PM

I have a very very limited amount of the Red hard anodised aluminium chassis in stock, they are a option part so will be sold separately, and work out at £18 plus p&p.

Looking good JC!! What is the weight difference in the carbon and alloy?

OldTimer 05-03-2010 06:44 PM

Alum chassis is around 80-90grams heavier centrally in the car ;)

MatJohnson 06-03-2010 09:07 AM

Looking good. Just waiting for the magic email so I can send you some money :)
