xcelorin vs LRP

What's better and why:-

4800kv xcelorin combo (from a speed t) sensorless
LRP AI pro 9.5t combo sensored

i dont know much about the losi motors as never ran them but i would think the sensored motor would be better as u dont get the cogging effect at the bottom end hope this helps

bump!

as matty says the sensored LRP should be smother although the sensorless is more efficant = less heat & longer run times

It depends on the usage. If you're going for speed runs - sensorless would be better. If you're bashing, sensorless would probably also be better, as it is more resiliant than sensored (no sensor leads to come loose, or get water in).

However, if racing, sensored is simply better for the low end control, though the best systems are the 'dual drive' systems, where they start sensored, then go sensorless for the extra efficiency and speed.
