2wd Front Tires for Dummies.

Hi,

i'm new to 2wd, looking to stock up on 2wd tires...

i see Proline has only 2 front tires for the 2wd... Ribbed and wide ribbed.

if i was just to buy them two tires, would that pretty much all i need?

becuase i see losi has over 10 combinations of front tires: wide, extra wide, 2 ribbed, 3 ribbed (then you have pink, red and silver)

also what is pre-scrubbed?

i would ask people at my track, but they never give me a decent answer...

thanks....

That depends entirely on the type of track you race on, what condition it is and what the weather is like....

outdoor dry dusty dry tracks.

basically for 4wd we use holeshots, bigshots, pins and blockheads..

Most of the users from this forum are form the uk so we mainly race on grass and asro so we dont use any proline or losi tys ecsept for tiverton. where ribs do work ok but i think your best bet is to sneak up to a fast persons car at yr track then see what they are running it will tell you on the side of the tyre
