i was about to say that lol,£80 for the shocks hhhmm cf one got to be.

I've pre ordered the K111 kit, which is the CF non built one. Had some really bad build issues with my last pre built Cat SX PB.

Haven't decided whether I'm looking my Cat SX for an SX2. Will prob just order the big bore shocks and sell the Losi shocks that are on my Cat SX at the moment.

My Cat SX is already pretty up to date with the LIPO stiff chassis, alloy mounts and so on. never had a prob with the slipper with RW spurs.

I'll probably get the carbon kit unless it turns out too pricey hereabouts, in which case I will not buy the SV at all; I've got already a car with crappy shocks...

Schumacher should have released the 2wd first and then a 4wd. Thanks to the arrival of the Cougar the Cat has gained great interest even in Sweden. Have not even seen a Cat in real life and now suddenly I know of at least 4 people who is going to buy it due to the Cougar. Me as well:thumbsup:.

Have ordered and paid for the Pro kit and the SX2 too. Down payment so far;)

Preordered the Cougar SV carbon shiney shine one :)
It would be rude not to really!

All of our pre-orders so far are heavily waited in favour of the PRO as opposed to the S1 (by over 3 to 1) and EVERYONE (baring 1 person) with us has ordered a kit and not a pre-built "lazy mans" car

Glad people are opting for the kit as the pre built quality on the Cat last time was rubbish

mes 10-02-2010 08:02 PM

Why pay more for less fun?!

8rad 10-02-2010 08:18 PM

Is the S1 really gonna come with those shocks? The design of those shocks has not changed since 1991. Way to take a cutting edge buggy and make it sucky!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

mikeyscott 10-02-2010 08:22 PM

i thought it would have come with the original cat SX shocks

Darren Boyle 10-02-2010 11:12 PM

Guys, they do have to get it down to he "S1" price somehow though.... Just changing Carbon to S1 and removing some of the fancy diff bits is never going to save them the £80 differance that there is between the two specs.

The S1 is supposed to be the "budget man's" car (or as I think the Schumcher press release read) for the "racers with an eye on cost". Just because the shocks are not big bore and just becuse they are not threaded does NOT make then bad! For most club racers they will be MORE than adequate!!!

On the cheaper B-Max from Yokomo the cheap kit comes with plastic shocks to save money (just thank god that Schuey did not make them plastic too, there would be uproar!! LOL)

purplenut 10-02-2010 11:15 PM

I think the link about the relase of both cars together is right.
I my self is will to sell the wife and all 4 kids to get a sv,only joking if she is reading this lol,but as soon as the sx2 was launched i was well i want that to,i think they have been clever to do this BUT i wish they had NOT.
God dam schumacher:thumbsup:

Tom3012 10-02-2010 11:18 PM
