Ebay advice

As I know some of you have had plenty of hours dealing on Ebay, so i'm after a little advice

I had my trex500 heli on there on a buy now. A chap bought it friday night with buynow, but didn't pay at that time...so saturday about 10am ish I sent an Invoice...still nothing,Then at 23.05 saturday he sent me a message that said it was not what he wanted, servos not what he wanted, gyro not HH etc.BUT all specs for gyros etc were shown on my listing. he then told me he didn't mean to hit buynow and he had made a mistake, he actualy wanted to make an offer, then told me to relist it:mad:

as you can imagin the first thing I wanted to do was just call him a wanker. But I held back:yawn:. I replied politly..but pissed off saying with a feedback of 750, I am sure he knows how Ebay works by now! also if he made a mistake he could have told me straight away, not 12hrs later. Anyway I know what he was up to...

Here is the thing, If I relist it are ebay going to charge me for the sale? as it was £300+ I'm not to keen on being charged for somthing I didn't sell.

Do I have to wait 4 days then open a dispute?? with the guy.

Any help would be great as all the Ebay help pages are a little hard to understand:bored:.and not very clear.

Cheers
Dave

Ask him to cancel the bid, so the auction has not ended or if he isn't willing, then go to the resolution centre and cancel it yourself.

Follw the instructions and you get your fee,s back

Also next time you use buy it now use the "requires immediate payment " option that way if they dont pay within a few minutes the item is automatically relisted and their bid cancelled.

had this last week.

had to wait 8 days to get my fees back.

Ebay does not protect the seller at all.

Lesson lernred, listed it on here, sold £150 and donated £5 to jimmy.
Would rather do that than put up with the hassle of ebay
