Will swap a mars bar and a pack of crisps for how to spray the cool streaks!!

jonmiller 12-06-2007 08:28 PM

what flavour?....haha

i use candy colors of choice for the main streaks doing varied thickness' of streaks. making sure to keep fairly close to the shell and at a fairly fast speed. then back with chrome....

Which airbrush do you have Jon? i i have a badger but it is not dual action so fine work is so difficult...

N

jonmiller 22-06-2007 05:42 PM

i use an iwata cr neil

telboy 22-06-2007 08:55 PM

I used a badger 200 and had no problem doing fine lines down to about .5mm .

I've just converted bac to my Aztec cheapo £20 jobbo.:o

I have a problem with the badger at the moment. It is drawing air in through the nozzle somewhere and its backing up through the brush and blowing bubbles into the paint cup. talk about a pain in th arse!
As your painting the paint is bubbling up over the cup and onto your hand and sometimes the shell.

So I'm converting back until I can afford a new Iwata.

not got a bent tip to your needle, or a partialy blocked nozzle?
