chassis balancing
i was looking over my lazer and i noticed that the battery side of the chassis is a little lower. so im wondering if anyone noticed this and if they had to add any weights to the motor side to balance it out. im running a 6 cell IB pack if that matters.

try thes shocks and make sure they're built allthe same. and then try balancing it on something then you'll know if it needs some weight.
|
my lazer's the same, mines just got a few weights on the motor side to help balance it out,it also brings to the correct weight:wtf: i wouldn't worry to much about it though:rolleyes:

I saw that on my car too. Is it alot better handling when you got a few weights on the motor side?

30 g next to the motor
15 g on the servo hope that helps. |
actually that helps alot, thanks.

i put the weights in my car today and it fixed the leaning to one side. i think it handles alittle better too, but its probably all in my head.

i weighed my electronics and battery
RHS = 4200 Cells fully made up with tubes + Battery brace = 460 Grams LHS = Brushless motor + Motor Mount + Pinion + ESC + Spektrum Receiver + Futaba Low profile Servo + AMB Personal Transponder = 380 Grams Need to add a whole 80 grams on the Electronic Side. I put 50 grams located near the motor (rear), 20grams near the ESC (middle) and 10 grams near the receiver (middle/front) |
i used to run 30 g by the motor and 10g + a pt on the servo. car used to jump flat with that on it so left it at that ;)
