Optional shells?
 

Just wondering. What other shells can be used on the SX? I know about the Womoog but what about Tateego and the new one for the Dex410.

The new one was already shown on the CAT SX, see Thread "Why do Azarashi..."

Well? I am mostly keen to know if the tateego fits. That is the really good looking one.

I had the Tateego on my TRF501 2 years ago and loved it.
But I think it's much too wide for the CAT. It would look "odd" to say the least.

This weekend I will try if the Durango body of my racing buddy fits.

I like that wide look but it will only look odd when the shell is off. when its on it will look like any other car with that body:woot:

Ive ordered a tateego on a punt to see if it will go on the catsx so i'll let you know.. i read some where the narrowest point on the tateego is 120mm

Sorry its been awhile but i finally got time to sit down and fit the tateego shell to the CATsx and it doesnt fit.. the body is to narrow in the acbin area and touches the front belt pullie and also the motors solder tabs and the spur gear...

It and be made to fit with some heating and shaping the body but its just not the same clean lines .. Under side isnt a problem everything fits well.. just the top side is a let down
