Wowah, where did that come from!?! I thought.... never mind.

Nice, now, go and drop it and break a wishbone.

Kifogrande 03-02-2010 05:17 AM

Yeah had a change of heart! Saw yours lol!!!!! I ordered a few packs after seeing that!

simoncrabb 03-02-2010 05:22 AM

 At least my f*cktardery didn't go to waste...

Kifogrande 03-02-2010 05:26 AM

Certainly didnt! Finding it hard not to buy all the other ally bits too but no shops seem to have great stock of everything right now.. Stuff like ballcups etc... I know rc mart, toy east and stella models, anywhere else with good spares stock? Cant find roll bars either.....

simoncrabb 03-02-2010 05:33 AM

etamiya.com and rcmarket.com.hk are two more

Fredrik Emilsson 03-02-2010 07:34 AM

rcmodel.com.hk has many 501X/511 spare parts + losi ballcups and HB studs.

Kifo most of plastic is same as db01/db01r, only difference ive seen on arms was the option to mount shocks on rear on rear arms. DB01 parts you can actually get from Hobby Co over ere lololol. The hinge pins are old tb evo 3 tc ones.
Just waiting for the body for mine thats coming your way when it arrives.

Rc Champ are a good place for mass parts orders!

Or email one of the others asking if they can get them in?

GRIFF55 03-02-2010 09:01 AM

Looking good kieth!! Champ got lots in and i think rc mart have a rollbar set.

AmiSMB 03-02-2010 09:14 AM

Looking good Keith. Hmmmm very tempting to get another green shelf queen:lol:

simoncrabb 03-02-2010 09:35 AM

www.racingfactory.fi too.

Watch out for the ol' customs duty on rc champ orders...

And spud: the plastic is different on the DB01 - DB01 is glass fibre reinforced and 511/501X are carbon fibre reinforced. GF v CF markings on the sprues.

GRIFF55 03-02-2010 09:55 AM

demon and brock models in the uk are a good source too;)

Mines in transit as we speak. Well, they do look so good...

Extra wishbones ordered as seen in RCLazy video. Tony's eBay shop gives very good service as well, thoroughly recommended.

511 is the same carbon arms and carbon castor blocks as DB01-R. The front & rear uprights are not carbon, but the same plastic from the regular DB01.

BTW: Rdvtg-Hobbies on eBay sells tamiya hop-ups at good prices. Shipping is super cheap too and fast (6 days to my house in Las Vegas). Sells out of Japan instead of Hong-Dong...
