Help with B4 shocks?

Hi all,
I am having trouble changing oil in my B4 shocks. I am following the instructions in the book, but every time I do it, they seem to be filled with air, or rock hard.

Do B4 drivers use B4 shocks?

Thanks,
Charlie

Get the new bleeder caps, make building them so much easier

Not that hard to do and they are fine with a little air in them too. In fact they need it to work properly.

Fill the body with oil. Push the piston up to about hafway and pull down slowly to get the air out from under the piston. Wait for bubbles to rise and pop. Then press piston to the top until the piston is just below the surface of the oil. Make sure you don't go too far and suck air under the piston again. Make sure the oil is flat to the top of the shocks. Put three or four drops of oil into the cap and assemble shock.

That basically gives me good shocks every single time.
