Toe in / out guages
I've been really bad recently at setting my toe in / out. Are there any decent guages out there that help etc.
Particuarly for the Cat SX / B4 |
I use a M Racing setup station when I am setting up.Track side I use a AE B4 and a PBM camber gauge. On a B4 you can see the toe in/out by looking at the outer hinge pin which is straight and the angle of the front wheels.

Got a M-Racing one, but haven't found it that accurate. Did the camber on it and then checked it with a RPM camber gauge. Let's just say I didn't trust it afterwards..
I've got a schumacher camber gauge and access to a good RPM one |
One problem when trying to set-up accurately is the amount of movement in the ball cups and the bearings. Sometimes it can also look different when you change the tyres. Also a very good flat surface is required as well.

I shall give it all another go.
Can't get much flatter than the kitchen surface (just got to dodge the Mrs) |
