they're taking live feeds from where they can, so could lose video in a bit, but they're the best source for everything.

It's a massive let down. Pricing looks OK though so I think with that it will still sell well.

No news on the new iPhone yet?

I think Apple's biggest mistake was releasing it on the same day the Cougar SV pics came out, now they'll get no coverage :woot:

Why a let down ? Looks just the ticket for what I wanted. The missus just watched it and i've got the greenlight to place an order :)

If your your a true poweruser, dont even look at iPad.

Power user, do people really still use that term ? For what the ipad is and does it looks spot on. It is indeed a big iPod touch with a few bells and whistles, but that's exactly what many people want.
If I want to edit video or do some 3d rendering I'll use my i7 rig, but if I want to surf the web , check emails etc quickly then the ipad is just the ticket to have lying around the house.

has the UK pricing been confirmed yet. No camera or multitasking though, but it does still look sexy, at $499 for the wifi 16GB, thats just over £300 here, surely it won't be that cheap ???

£300 ? that's about £100 more than a more capable netbook...unless I'm missing something ?

$500 will make it £500 using Apples exchange rate. and that is only for wifi. If you want 3g built in that's an extra $130. For a big iphone. Can only run iphone apps, not full software.

typical style over substance expensive tat from apple. probably sell really well!

I'd have one if someone was giving them away. I have an ipod touch, I think it's the best thing ever - but do I want a bigger one that I can't fit in my pocket? doesn't really make much sense to me - but I'm sure I'll be proven wrong.
