Sc10 recommendations for gearing with a 7.5r - not for racing
 

Hi there.

Have a newly acquired sc10 that for the time being is going to be used pottering around. I have a 10.5 for this specifically for racing :D

In the meantime i have a spare novak 7.5r and im going to use this in the sc10 for a bit more poke. Using an 87 spur,where should i be looking to start with pinion ranges.

For the 10.5 is was a 22 and 87 combo.

i am running a 21 on an 8.5 , reasonably small track but its fine , plenty of poke with decent top end , dont know the final ratio though

Hmmm and is ther any issues with heat or top end etc.
I started with a 19 and gave it a quick blast around he patio. Omg it's quite fast ans sets off like mad lol. The tyres are really good on the patio an it has so much turn in, it's like it's 4wd lol.

Iv no done any high speed runs as yet, bu I will let you all know how it pairs up.
