Is there a decent 4wd or 2wd RTR package?

Hi was wondering if someone totally new came up to you and asked what should they get, it may be a bit daunting to recommend a full race package that will cost over $1000 dollars.

Coz lots of newbies come up to me and ask what they should get. Cant really be stuffed explaining what an ESC or a servo does. I rather just tell them go buy a rtr package. As most of them wont end up racing anyway.

Is there any good 2wd or 4wd Rtr buggy packages available?

The B4 RS Spec RTR is the only real "race" RTR package I know of.

I agree, especially the newer one is by far the best RTR package ever. That said the 2nd hand market is so cheap thse days if you know someone who knows anything about cars you can get a nice B4 for £80, decent 2 year old speedo for £50, 1/2 price or less radio gear, or that Sanwa system for less than £100 which seem to do everything you need. 3 packs of nimh and you're well away!

Really don't forget all the added extras, it adds up to more than you think, just on oils and stuff, some decent hex drivers, charger, toolboxes, and other general needed bits and bobs i spent more than i did on the car and batteries etc, although i already had a radio system and esc

The ZX-5 RTR isn't out yet. It supposed to be out in mid-late June though.
