Black Spurs
Have Schumacher improved the Cat SX spur gears?
I've bought spurs before and they've always been made out of white plastic. Some arrived today and they're black. Are they new and less likely to melt, old and I've never seen them before or the same, but a different colour?!! |
They are more than likely the new RW ones ones made from the same material we use for our "Stealth" spurs in the DMS Partz range to fit the B4, T4, X6 or X60....
|
They changed colours on Mi4LP spur and pulleys to black, so it's possible that they changed also CatSX spurs to black. Can't comment on quality of material. Try it and you'll see.

The RW spurs are black and what I am running. Had less issues with them. Plus they are cheaper

think they are less likely to melt in the middle like the old white spurs, so should give a far better life. Also save you the hassle of the B4 lay shaft conversion.
