Diffs for B44

I popped in a TC3 diff into the B44 and it fits and meshes fine, but the outdrives are shorter than the B44 ones so the driveshafts fall out.

Can anyone confirm this is the same for the NTC3?

I basically want a solid front diff as I run mine near enough locked indoors which I find nice to drive, but this isn't doing the plates and balls much good.

If anyone with a NTC3 could let me know the width of the diff I can pretty much work it out from there. :)

Thanks for the replies....

I can confirm a NTC3 solid front diff fits and works a treat

hi big g
i tried this on my d 4 and it ate driveshafts and outdrives , i ended up making up a diff without balls in and cardboard diff "rings" so it had a wee bit of slip in accidents- bit lik the slipper spool fir the tc5

it's only being used on polished floor. I doubt I'll keep it in for carpet or outdoors. I also like a bit of slipper action to take the grunt out of the launch and stop the arse trying to overtake the front
