I get bits from Japan etc... whats the "committees" (:woot:) info on EMS??

Sometimes i get charged sometimes i dont..????

I think the car to have this year.. will be the 511x a very underestimated car indeed!! At the petit, there were 3 there and all looked awesome! Unfortunatley the UK importers dont seem to be bothered at the mo so prices are ridiculous.. this could soon change as Lee Martin is running tamiya for 2010!

DaveG28 22-01-2010 08:19 PM

Customs are being a pain at the mo, had 2 parcels under $50 snarled this year, never had it before! Plus they are taking a week to clear suggesting they are checking loads more!!

On the meet, looks like there's 5 4wd reserves at the mo, if I got my name down on the list what would be the odds of 5/6 people dropping out based on prior experience?

Dave

ryanlownie 22-01-2010 08:44 PM

Nick, hopefully Lee running a Tamiya and possibly more in the UK will convince The Hobby Co to stock the TRF range. I've talked to the rep before and he seems clueless to anything TRF and the prices I've seen are ridiculous. I've actually inquired into stocking the TRF bits by offering payment up front and then getting the bits specially ordered for us but they didn't even reply...

Dave, I have actually had to drop out of this weekends 4WD class so count one down, surely more will drop out too? It's at your own risk.... Maybe someone else can let you know if dropouts are frequent and how many usually tend to do so..
