TR32 tyre help...

In amongst a job lot of tyres I got recently are some TR32s on old style Schumacher rims. They look to be brand new so I was going to remove them and pop on some B44 rims.

I've got some acetone but was wondering if anyone knew if they react like Schumacher Greens do? Last thing I want is to wreck these tyres....

You could try boiling them in an old pressure cooker on the lightest weight.. Don't use the pressure cooker for food though as the glue is toxic cyanide. Give it 25 to 30 mins and you will be golden I reckon!

put them on a baking tray, about 20mins at around 130 C and off they will come .... baking trays are cheap and you can always keep it for the next time you want to get tires off ;)

Might try the oven trick...I tried steaming a pair of wheels the other week and it wasn't a massive success - kind of half worked...

Definitely sounds like a job for when the other half is out:thumbsup:
