Ash

Nothing compares to that one of Oli's but that's really a shelf queen, yours is up there with the best of the real race cars.:D

Got my xx4 all sorted for stick lipo and looking forward to getting into a few more midwest events this season and improve my racing. We had one or two good battles last year. If you do find anyone to make a battery strap, would you mind letting me know.

Cheers mate

I'll try and do something then, I can measure the critical dimensions and then draw it up on AutoCAD, I think they can make anything from a .dxf drawing file. Basically it just needs to fit over the retaining clip post and under the spine, and then just project forward a bit over the lipo until just short of the motor, with a few radiused corners to make it look nicer.

Yea I have mine here nad my ruler I will get measuring aswell...

Hi

HI Ashley,

Nice car, What gearing do you use with the 6.5 motor?

ashleyb4 23-01-2010 12:59 PM

Hi Adam

Im not to sure i cant remember what ive set it at later ill take the motor out and look which pinion it is.

Got the battery strap though this morning needed a bit of modification to the under side or the reciever platform but slots in nicely..

On a 6.5 you want to be on 9.5 overall ratio.

Top job on the battery brace, something unique.

You post it up on other forums (rctech.net etc.) im sure other people would be interested in getting some made. Maybe even get a whole lot made and sell them on ebay

Looking good Ash  Minus those yellow wheels...

ashleyb4 26-01-2010 09:28 PM

Yellow wheels are go fast wheels and the yellow wheels match the yellow of the bodyshell.
