Cycling Trainer
but which one to get
which one do you have or have used? budget upto £250 pics to give you an idea of what I'm looking for http://www.tacx.com/MEDIA-REPOSITORY...er_450x338.jpg |
Cat eye
If you can get hold of a cateye cyclosimulator then they are the best by a long long way...imo.Has speedo etc built in, offers air and magnet resistance- adjustable from the bars. Closest to riding on the road.
They hold the front forks as the front wheel has to be removed. I have had a couple as pictured and settled for a cat eye. No wobble if you get out of the saddle and give it some. Check cycling weekly as they have not been made for a while but some places still have them kicking about. If not something that holds the front wheel or ability to. Tacx offer some solid ones and are professionals choice. Good luck mate |

would have to sell RC kit to get in in and that's not going to happen just yet :D |
The fluid trainers seem feel like road riding more than magnetic ones to me, personal preference i guess. Have a look on wiggle, usually some good deals there.

I have the cycleops fluid 2 trainer. As the other chap says, it does wobble a bit but never feels unsafe, the resistance always feels good.
There seem to be loads available now, so might be worth popping any questions to their sales team????? sure they know more than all of us put together:woot::thumbsup: |
