Can I get my hoody back?! :D

Hulk 12-01-2010 10:34 AM

No, I was wearing it the other day when i started day dreaming thinking about all the times you've stolen and hid parts of my car. This got me very angry which made my skin turn green. My body then started to expand ripping your hoody in the process. Having ripped your hoody i was topless and very cold so decided to set the remains of your hoody on fire. Needless to say it is no more. Sorry.

James 12-01-2010 11:24 AM

Can you please grease your diff gears so you dont deafen your follow team drivers when you're running round

Paul.

Pop over and ask any of the guys in the TD apparel.
We'll be trying to pit together depending on space.
I think we'll all be starting off with our Broxtowe set-ups.
We all have different set-ups which give the same overall feel for the car.
It depends if you like roll bars or not.
Have a look on the TD website and take your pick.

Here is the list of set ups from Broxtowe:

http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...04_10_2009.pdf

http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...08_11_2009.pdf

Or you could use a set up from West Bridgeford which looks like very similar carpet to whats used at the Petit:

http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...ord_121209.pdf

http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...s_24_10_09.pdf

http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...r_15_11_09.pdf

http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...l_15_11_09.pdf

All set up sheets from various tracks are on the Team Durango website www.team-durango.com. Just click in the pits and you will see the set up sheets there.

Most of us will be staring with similar set ups to the above then fine tuning on the day. Like i say dont hesitate to come over and ask.

Thanks lads

rcardoso 21-01-2010 11:45 AM

did you guys used steering dual rate at 100% or limited ?

Adam Skelding 21-01-2010 11:51 AM

Hi,
I used 100% D/R on my transmitter. The carpet was quite low grip compared to some we run on.

rcardoso 21-01-2010 11:57 AM

I used 70%... :(
With 7k on rear and 12k on front without anti rollbars..
Didnīt cut any row on tyres..
and with side and rear weights...
What should it be ?

James 21-01-2010 12:43 PM

My steering was retarded by 43% at the weekend :eh?: , my full setup should be on the durango site.

Hulk 21-01-2010 12:47 PM

Hi mate,

i also used 100% R/D.

in regards to diff oils your not far off. Its all about personal preference but i ran 20k in front and 7k in the rear. This calmed the car down greatly and stopped the front end biting in on long sweeping corners.

Indoors in would take all the weights off your car, i did this for the last round of qualifying and put in my quickest time of the day (just missing out on the A final by a few seconds, if only i didnt crash on the second to last lap!).

At the Petit i also cut 1 row off the front tyres just to make the steering little smoother and again to stop the front from snatching. This is not the norm though so i would leave your tyres without any rows cut off and see ghow it goes. If its too snatchy then maybe consider cutting a row off the front.

thank you guys!
So we should first try to calm down the front in car setup, instead of reduce D/R ?
