Brushed Motor Maintenance FAQ ??
 
Guys ive done a search on how to Maintain a Brushed motor but cant find any, Does anyone have a link to a how to change brushes etc ??

removing brushes is pretty much childs play. unhook the spring and pull it out. then unsolder/unscrew it and replace

checkpoint motors you just unscrew the end caps and pull out.

The motors with the angled brushes (orion I think) you need to remove the end cap and pull them through that way. then thread the braided brush wire up through the spring

cool, it was easy to take apart, its an old LRP blue out of my cougar 2000 from back in 94, are replacement brushes pretty much standard to buy or do i need specifics ??

undo the 2 screws on the end bell and twist. it'll pull apart then. generally brushes are motor specific.
